Rachel Roy & Memphis Fashion Week
Memphis Fashion Week 2018 has definitely been one for the books. I was invited out by Memphis Fashion Design Network and Bluff City Lights blogger group to attend this year's events. Last year, I had interned with Memphis Fashion Design Network, so it was really different to be attending as an influencer instead of an intern. Keep reading below and find out the rundown for outfit details + my experiences from each night. Also, I threw in a few snippets from my insta story. Check it out below!
Memphis Fashion Week Night 1
The first night of Memphis Fashion Week was the trunk show, where many established designers around the city came to sell their designs to the public. This is also a mingling time to connect and network with the designers and other significant faces in the community. The venue for this year's trunk show took place at a vacant space on the Highland Strip. From the exposed brick to the arched doorways, the architectural features of this space were beautiful!
I wasn't sure what I wanted to wear to this event, but I did know that I wanted to make a fashion statement to each event. My favorite feature on my body are my legs. 70 degree weather definitely made me think of tuxedo shorts. I found this really cute blouse a while ago at Nordstrom, and I knew it would look great with my white tuxedo shorts. I also wanted a pop of color. And what better color is better than pink :) So I decided to throw in a pop of color with my accessories. I found these Jessica Simpson heels, and I had already had the perfect BaubleBar earrings to match! I knew with all of these statement pieces, I needed a shoulder bag that was very simplistic. I decided to go with the clear handbag trend. Shop similar outfit details down below1

Memphis Fashion Week Night 2
The second night of Memphis Fashion Week was my favorite night! The Featured Designer Runway shows took place this night, and Rachel Roy was the headlining designer. There were other designers located in Memphis that showcased their collections. Every designer killed the runway! I am so happy to say thank you Rachel Roy for dressing me this night. Rachel Roy and her communications manager had reached out requesting that I wear a piece from her collection. I decided to pick out this amazing jumpsuit to wear to the shows. This was my absolute favorite look from all of the events!! This jumpsuit definitely made a statement. The shoes added a nice futuristic affect, and I loved that about these shoes!

Memphis Fashion Week Night 3
The final night was the night to see the Emerging Designer runway shows. This was a great show as well. Seeing each designer's work walk down the runway was amazing! All of the work and effort that went into each piece really did not go unnoticed.
I enjoyed myself so much each night. Being a blogger in this beautiful city is so wonderful! Memphis has many great influencers that are beautiful inside and out, and I am so happy that I was able to connect with them during Memphis Fashion Week. I hope you have enjoyed each look that I decided to go with each night. Let me know which is your favorite by leaving a comment down below!
